I’m happy to announce that the Crafty Ewe will reopen for in-person shopping beginning Thursday, June 4th on a limited basis. While I’m thrilled to be reopening, my number one priority is making sure we’re doing so in a way that keeps everyone safe and complies with state rules and regulations.
THINGS WILL BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT…
New days and hours for June
In-person shopping and small framing orders - Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 5:30 No appointment necessary!!!
Order pickups ONLY – Monday thru Wednesday from 10:00 to 2:00 We will continue to take phone and email orders throughout the week and offer pickup on the days we’re not open. I’m sorry but we won’t be open for walk-ins or take appointments during these hours.
Appointments – Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday from noon to 5:00pm Please call 440-838-1600 or email me at email@example.com to make an appointment. I’m happy to work with you to find a time to shop or consult on framing.
Limited number of customers
For the time being I need to limit the number of shoppers to six in the store at a time. Six people can move around comfortably while they shop and stay apart from the others.
Additionally, I will be marking spaces around the fabric table and register to make it obvious how to keep a safe distance apart. The framing table is more difficult. It’s hard to keep socially distant while collaborating on framing. If you are bringing in framing during open hours please bring no more than one piece. A single framing order can be handled in a short amount of time and doesn’t cause me any concern. If you have more than one piece, please call 440-838-1600 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment. Handling your framing during off-hours will allow us to spread out.
All of our stitch alongs, classes and get-togethers are canceled through June. I’m hopeful we can find a safe way to get together in July. If you signed up for a Saturday Night stitch in April, May or June I have applied a credit to your account for the dates I had to cancel.
Masks, hand-sanitizing, and hygiene
Per Ohio regulations my team will be wearing masks while helping you. Customers are not required to wear masks but it is appreciated. High touch surfaces will be cleaned frequently and we have hand sanitizer at the entrance for you to use when you arrive. (There are also bottles throughout the store.) You’ll still be able to pick out your own chart, notions and flosses but please allow us to handle everything for you at the framing and fabric tables.
Something that isn’t changing -
our love of needlework and how much we enjoy sharing that love with all of you. My team and I have really missed spending time with you on floss tosses, picking out that perfect stocking pattern for the new baby in the family, oooh and aaahing over a silk conversion or that beautiful piece of hand dyed fabric that just arrived. Even more than that we miss the fellowship and laughter. There’s really nothing like time spent with your stitching friends. Even if you never put in a stitch. Not that I’m ever guilty of that. ????
Another thing that won’t ever change is how grateful I am. Thank you so much for your continued business and support. It means the world to me.
I hope I see Ewe soon. Until then, Be Well and Stitch.
